Can i use my ETHs on BEP20 (BSC) in my trustwallet to pay for gas fees?

Sorry for rookie question in advance.

I have a coin that is ERC20, right now i want to send some of it to someone but the gas fee will be too damn high, i have to pay the gas fee for sending and also another gas fee for buying ETH and sending it to my trustwallet so i can pay for the gas fee, this makes me have to pay 40$ for a 50$ transfer….

Now considering that Trustwallet also has a BEP20 ETH, can i use that to pay for the gas fees?
