Is BEP-20 ETH the same as the actual ETH?

okay so pretty much i only invest in the bsc network, and that is where my money is kept. Is buying the bsc version of eth the same as holding the one i would buy from say binance or coinbase?

And say eth reaches a price of 10k, would the bsc version also reflect this?

I want to get into ETH, and i've only traded BSC my entire crypto lifetime lol. Thank you for reading.
