When is time to upgrade your electrical installation

Hello,

Starting to mining with one 3080 card. I suppose i will get something like 350W-370W in the wall and I'm comfortable with that. Putting another card may lead to 700W, probably fine. But when I start to see the rigs there, i'm starting to be a bit nervous for having >1000W 24×7.

Even if the current is much lower than 10A, I don't know if the wires will handle 5A – 6A current on a 24×7 basis. Which is your experience? in which moment you have to start thinking on a specific installation.

I'm not in a hurry now, but in the future i may want to scale. I will have to touch my installation to install an electric car plug, so maybe then I can do other arrangements, but I don't know what may be required or which kind of setup should be done.
