To everyone saying crypto is a scam: let’s talk about the security of the Ethereum network.

I’ve been seeing so many people on here state that the EVM (Ethereum virtual machine) is a scam, and it is not decentralized at all. If you think this, Well take a second to read this:

The EVM is made up of many different nodes, from all different people, from all around the world. Each nodes job is to validate whether a transaction is phony or not. It doesn’t validate transactions on one computer, but many. You can actually create your own node and validate transactions yourself on ETH2.0 if you have 32 ETH.

For a public blockchain, the decision to validate a transaction and add it to the chain is made by consensus. This means that the majority of nodes (or computers in the network) must agree that the transaction is valid. The people who own the computers in the network are incentivised to verify valid transactions because of the rewards they receive. If they validate invalid transactions, they lose money.

This is where 51% attacks come from, But that talk is for another day😹😹

Does this make a little more sense on how ETH keeps your funds safe and sound? Have a great day y’all and happy validating🥳🥳🥳
