NFT for starters! Need help, how do you make a randomly generated NFT with metadata?

Eth developers, how do you make a randomly generated NFT with metadata?

For the past 2 weeks I have been trying to make an ERC-721 token but it is not working out that well, so I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how I am supposed to do it. There is actually very little information about this on the internet. So in short I am trying to make an ERC-721 token on ethereum which is randomly generated, currently I am pretty much stuck by implementing metadata. But I don't think I am working smart at the moment. They always say: work smart not hard. So I think I might have to start from scratch again 😉

So how do you go from scratch => people being able to mint on a website
