ETH staking question on Binance…

I have one full ETH sitting on Trust Wallet. I want to stake it on Binance, but I’m hesitant. I live in the US so I’m not technically supposed to use Binance. I use it when needed for quick trades using a VPN and it works fine.

Would I be taking a risk moving my ETH over there to stake? Or am I just being paranoid? Or is there a US friendly exchange I should be staking on?
