Building my 1st rig! but ther is a problem! RISER LED LIGHTS! :D

I just bought two gpu risers and they work as they shoud, but I will have the rig in my bedroom close to my bed, and those led lights are a problem. Is there a way to turn them off? if not is okey to use black masking tape to cover the leds lights? is it safe to do so?

I uploaded two pics, day/night… Dont worry much about the cards. I will make my wood frame tomorrow.
