The Future of RVN post ETH 2.0

I'd like to preface my post by saying that I've only been apart of the cryptocurrency community for about 3 months now.

As we all are aware the Kapow algorithm was made to be ASIC resistant and with the coming of ETH 2.0 we all would love for the hashpower used to power the ETH network to come to RVN and see the project takeoff, but I'm worried.

What's stopping already existing large mining pools on the ETH network from coming together when ETH is no longer minable and perform a 51% attack?

Will the algorithm adjust itself to the influx of hashpower to become more difficult as the network is more congested?

How can singular users like myself help further support the network? I assume it would be by first setting up my own RVN node.
