Switching to mining Ravencoin

Currently i am mining Ethereum on my 1060 6gb but I want to switch to Ravencoin. Right now I need 0.005 ethereum for my payout and I currently have 0.004 Eth. If I start right now with mining Ravencoin, will I lose my unpaid Ethereum or can I proceed mining Ethereum whenever I want without losing that unpaid ethereum?
