Monero’s Cake Wallet now supports Unstoppable Domains’ .crypto usernames
Blockchain-based domain name provider Unstoppable Domains has announced support for Cake Wallet, a non-custodial, open-source Monero, Bitcoin, and Litecoin wallet.
Now, Cake Wallet’s 150,000 users can send Monero (XMR), Bitcoin (BTC), and Litecoin (LTC) across 50+ wallets and exchanges with Unstoppable Domains’ easily readable usernames.
Sending Monero and other cryptocurrencies normally requires a recipient’s alphanumeric wallet address. Yet, if mistyped or miscopied, these funds can be forever lost.
By utilizing Unstoppable Domains, instead of “156i6HJfMWb1h2BEsKpfvZ2tQugqo4vs2w” users can type “[YourName].crypto” to send funds.

Launched in 2018, Cake Wallet users can create multiple wallet accounts with cloud backup support. Cake Wallet also includes an in-app exchange to easily swap XMR, BTC, LTC, ETH, USDT, ADA, and more.
To date, Unstoppable Domains has sold more than 1 million domain names, which are minted as NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain.
“Monero and Cake Wallet have a robust, privacy-focused global community; and now they can easily connect their blockchain domain name, to make private crypto transactions as simple as sending an email.”
