Why are the people in power so old, does this bother anyone else?

It aggravates me that the people who are making the choices on Crypto in the senate are all so old. like of course they don't get the purpose of Cryptocurrency. I don't even completely trust my mother to complete complicated tasks and she's 61. How can I trust these farts in the senate. Does this bother anyone else? let me know.
