Mining issue on second computer.

I installed nbminer on the second computer to put to use the 290x that's sitting doing nothing, I've done my config and added it to av whitelist and win defender and malwarebytes, then when I boot it it reads my gear and config, logs in and says successful and then suddenly just closes. I tried turning off all the av and win firewall but it still closes. Any ideas guys? I usually use damominer on my main pc. Edit, just checked graphics drivers, they are up to date.
