Hello! I just thought I would share how I convert RVN to BTC to mine more RVN.

So I currently mine on Minerpool.org as the payouts are not correlated to blocks found (PPTS), which helps me actually calculate out the current profitability when comparing NiceHash prices for rental. With a known RVN/MH/24hr, it makes it based less on luck and more on math. Plus the Admins are super nice.

So, why did I think I needed to make a guide on how to convert?

Currently, there is only one exchange that I know of that can do the RVN to BTC flip without ever touching the USD: Bittrex, and its quite the process if you have only a small amount of raven. Technically you need 2 exchanges.

1. Send RVN from RavenCore to Bittrex Wallet.
2. RVN->BTC conversion. If it is a large volume of RVN then send it back to NiceHash(approx .1BTC IIRC. Someone correct me with the math its too early and I havent had coffee). If its less then that amount.
3. BTC->ALGO. Why BTC/ALGO? Algo has a extremely cheap transfer cost (.01ALGO).
4. ALGO to Coinbase. Coinbase has really low transfer fees for BTC.
5. ALGO->BTC with Coinbase(pro).
6. BTC sent to Nicehash.

Honestly, this is a lot of work to make sure RVN never touches the USD as I constantly reinvest my raven and build my RVN wallet.TL:DR- It's possible to never let RVN touch USD if converting, and the best solution is for a Coinbase listing please.
