Are you paying more fees to send from BSC to ETH than ETH to ETH

Hey guys,

I was wondering if, theoretically, sending 1 ETH from the binance smart chain (BSC) to an ETH address would be more or less expensive than sending that 1 ETH from an ETH address to another ETH address?

I'm new to crypto and newer to Ethereum; but seems like ETH to ETH is really expensive in terms of fees.

P.S. Hope I'm asking at the right sub.
