Why Stoicism is Important in Crypto and In life

About 3 decades back, my family used to live in a place happily, minding their own business. We live in a third world country and unfortunately for us, the place we resided in wasn't a really great place.

And probably not in the way you're thinking, the place was infested with radical terrorist groups. At first it wasn't that bad, but eventually it became uninhabitable.

So my father had to leave everything there and move, along with his family for his and our safety. Long story short, the place we used to stay in was Burned to the ground and my father (then 25 years old) had nothing on him, we were all homeless overnight.

He didn't lose hope, and most importantly, he didn't lose his sanity because he practiced the stoic philosophy. The philosophy that suggests to not get affected by anything in life, good or bad. He rebuilt everything slow and steady from scratch while feeding the whole family and taking care of their needs.

Fast forward to now, we live happily and peacefully in another city, and now that I invest in crypto(although it's only been about 6 Months), in my opinion the only thing that's kept me in green throughout is being stoic, and emotionally detached, regardless if the Market is going up or down.

The moral of this story is, practise Stoicism if you want to stay peaceful in life. Your Life >>> Your Portfolio.
