Question – running core wallet as a node. What is banned peers?

Hi all,

Running an empty core wallet as node.

I noticed under help->debug window -> Peers that there are banned peers.

Does anyone know what determines why a peer gets banned? is it a function built into the core wallet or something broader on the rvn network?

not sure if I should be concerned about security.
