Is my recovery phrase only accessible the very first time I open the wallet?

I hope this doesnt get asked too often. I am not locked out of my wallet. I have the official Ravencoin Raven Core app running – and Im mining RVN.. I swear I both wrote it down in pencil and copy pasted the passphrase into some document on my computer but I cant find it, and now Im trying to set up my iPhone app with my wallet just so I can monitor it..

Is there a place to see your passphrase in the raven core app? Or did I mess up and I should make a new one and move my coins over?
