I started mining Ravencoin on a …. Gaming Laptop … and I’m having heat problems

I know laptops have heat issues and are not the best for mining because of that. But I wanted to get involved in the community.

My heat issues seem weird. It'll run at 70 degrees Celsius for a while and then spike up to 79 or 80 degrees for twenty minutes or so and then drop back down.

I've got the laptop flipped upside down in a tent position and have a fan blowing on it. I've also got the AC blowing on it as well.

Anybody else experience these temp spikes and what did you do to help get more constant temps?
