There should be a rule where you automatically have to add a “Tl;dr” (“Too long didn’t read”) if you want to post a news article.

A good portion of the posts in this subreddit are just zero effort copy and pastes from random and un-reliable websites. They are often posted with misleading titles and often provide 0 information or insight into the topic they claim to be talking about.
A forced "Tl;dr" would prevent people mindlessly spamming the first article they see when they open their laptop/phone, and would also prevent clickbait titles to an extent, as people would be forced to read and summarise the article they have posted and actually create a title based on the content of the article.
I don't think it would be hard to govern either, you don't necessarily need mods to check every post and make sure the "Tl;dr" is accurate. Just add a 200-300 character minimum so that the poster actually has to put some form of effort into either summarising the article, asking a question about it or even just making a comment about it.
Tl;dr or tldr stands for “too long; didn't read", and essentially means a summary of the article that is being posted.
