HW ledger stolen, now what?

I'm finally sitting at an airport in France after scrambling to get a ticket home ASAP. What happened? Wife flew home ahead of me to prep a meeting, immediately realizing someone had broken into our house. Missing is my fire safe vault and all our computers. and usb thumb drives.

In the vault is my HW ledger containing a good chunk of my life savings in BTC. The vault is cheap and I'm sure they'll easily break into it. Lesson learned: bulkier vault and bolt it into concrete I guess.

Now: the ledger is protected by a pin and the backup phrase is safe at my parent's house. As soon as I get home, I will move the funds to another wallet. They're also overseas so nobody can send me the phrase 🙁 But I do fortunately have the keys to their house.

The flight home will take a few hours and they may already had it in their possession for a couple of days. Are there any known ways to brute force the PIN? Can they get it done before I'm home?? I unfortunately used a 4 digit pin, though I assume they only have so many tries before it locks down?

UPDATE: My funds are now moved and safe again, thanks to an enterprising wife who got into my parents house to get the backup seed 🙂 The stolen computers/ledger/etc can be replaced, a bunch of BTC not so much. It was a big scare. Given what was stolen and not, I'm fairly sure I was targeted due to my home address being on the ledger breach list.
