How is RVN Solo Mined?

Does the Ravencoin Wallet earn Rewards? Or is it not a CPU Mineable coin? I'm installing the Ravencoin Windows Wallet on Linux using Wine! Hoping it mines as well as my PC mines on the hodlcoin core-qt wallet!
