[HELP] Hashrate drops once I disconnect a VNC viewer session

Hello,

I've got a mining PC set up with 2 GPUs (1070 Ti & 2080 Ti) connected and on average my hashrate is 54MH/s, using T-Rex miner. This PC is plugged in to a TV but isn't used a lot, so most of the time I just access it remotely via VNC from another computer or from my phone.

A few days ago I had to restart this PC, and since then my hashrate average has dropped to 48MH/s.

Strangely now if I connect to this PC over VNC, the hashrate will return to 54MH/s and stay there until I disconnect. I've tried adjusting some of the OC settings in Afterburner but this doesn't make any difference. I've tried restarting my PC a few times but this also doesn't do anything.

(This is the total hashrate between the 2 GPUs, but it's only the 2080 Ti hashrate that drops, and the 1070 Ti hashrate remains steady)

Has anyone encountered this problem or have any ideas why this behaviour is occuring? To me I thought the opposite would happen- I'd expect the hashrate to drop while I'm connected via VNC.
