Solo mining and Dev fee Mined

I noticed that while solo mining, the message "mined dev fee". that's all fine and all, I dont mind it at all. However what are the chances, that my rig finds a block during the dev fee mining process. Does the dev get the full block reward? do they get nothing? Did I miss the block reward chance?
