New mining rig question

Is it easier to mine with a bigger GB GPU instead several 4GB GPUs? What I mean is, if I buy one 8GB or 12GB is that better than having two or three 4GB GPUs. Trying to figure out which card to buy. Just getting into the game to support crypto. So far I like mining raven and will try others. Appreciate any comments you all provide.
