Gas price extremely low

I have placed a transaction via metamask with extremely low priority of 13 gwei. This option was given to my by default on metamask. The transaction is still pending at 16 hours and counting.

Does anyone have experience with extremely low priority transactions? How long can the process take potentially (will it be completed at all)?
