Will I have to do anything to my ETH in cold storage before the hard fork this year?

I see in the Coinbase app that there is both ETH and ETH2. I imagine after the fork nothing will be needed from those users. If we have our ETH in cold storage and not on an exchange will we have to do anything in preparation for the upgrade?
