If I use hiveos or similar – I don’t need mining software like trex ? I don’t need any pool either?

I found rave OS and hive OS etc but not sure how it works…..I mean do I still need mining software and mining pool ? or that OS is inclusive all?

its free for single user …so what is the catch? do they charge fees like miner software do?
