How to start mining?

Hello! I'm a total beginner at mining. I just started mining Monero, and since it doesn't touch my GPU, I thought that it would maybe be a good idea to contribute to RavenCoin, I've been a lurker for a long time now! So, how to start? Do you have a good tutorial, involving foss mining programs? Thank you for your help!
