Unused Smart Contracts (Overall Ethereum Network)

Hello, Just have a quick question for the technically minded. So there have been many scams and rugpull smartcontracts that eventually die in ethereum but still live in the code. As ethereum accumulates more and more of these trash smartcontracts does that have an impact on the network over the longer-term?
