Any chance the amount of eth required to run a node goes down?

With the price of eth going up so much has there been any talk of lowering the number of eth required to run a node? I really want to have my own to help decentralization and whatnot but it’s pretty difficult to accumulate 32 with how high the price is. Any talk about lowering the amount required?
