Ravencoin Asset Creation Malfunction

This morning after doing what I thought was enough research and learning about the process, I decided to mint an asset with Ravencoin. Using my wallet, I created the asset, made sure the name was correct (LTH) and attached an IPFS hash. I triple checked everything and clicked create. Super.

The 500 RVN was deducted from my wallet and then instead of seeing my asset, I saw

ETH! Asset Creation Fee (500) Burned

Which remained for 1.5 hours unconfirmed. Finally, the confirmation came through and instead of my asset, the entire process simply disappeared from my wallet. I'm not sure what happened here. Is my asset created? Why did it take so long? Where is the asset?
