Today’s SEC hearing on GME just mentioned distributed ledger and blockchain technology to improve market transparency and settlements.

Congressman Warren Davidson of Ohio just asked Gary Gensler directly about the SEC's position on distributed ledgers and blockchains. My head snapped up off my desk so fast I pulled a muscle in my neck.

The congressman seemed optimistic that the technology could help bring transparency to markets and improve the efficiency of settlements and clearings. He straight up shilled Gensler's free lectures on blockchain available online. I couldn't help but share because it's surreal hearing this discussion happen on such a broad platform. These discussions will only continue to happen with Gensler moving forward, and I couldn't be happier about it.
