Can someone give a TL:DR summary?

I have never in my life bought stocks, crypto etc, but wanted to invest about 300-500$ in something just for the fun of it. After reading about 5 minutes on reddit, and downloading Trust wallet, Ethereum seemed like a fun thing to start up with. But I have some questions. When should I buy? How long do I hold? I read something about the price increasing in june, is this true? I probably have Even more questions, but these are the ones that I come up with right now. All usefull information for a FNG will help!
