Shares and Jobs Question

What is the relationship between the two?

I'm new to mining, and was cryptoaware since bitcoin started but never "really" dove in.

Thinking no better time than now so I slam hiveos onto a USB and cop a second hand gpu to supplement my gaming rig with.. both only 4gb so whats a man to do but read some white papers and realize RVN has some great potential.

I'm doing pretty well mining it too! Probably recoup the cost of all my equipment in 250 days or so. Lol with my current trading strategy of panic trading.

Anyways, back to my original question just wanted to give some background.

I get far more jobs than shares accepted. Like maybe 5 to 1. Are jobs and shares related and if so how?

I will include a high tech phone snapshot of my TV for analysis.
