Does Ethereum have an intrinsic value?

I'm just curious why it's so difficult to find any attempts at calculating Ethereum's "intrinsic value". Unlike, art or gold or maybe even bitcoin which is more of a perceived value or a "store of value" I thought Ethereum would have an "intrinsic value" similar to the "intrinsic value" of a currency. But I can't find anywhere on the internet anyone even attempting to calculate Ethereum's intrinsic value. Why is this and how might one even attempt to calculate the intrinsic value of Ethereum?
