Any info on TrueBit Protocol?
As most of you probably know, TrueBit is "a blockchain enhancement which enables smart contracts to securely perform complex computations in standard programming languages at reduced gas costs."
Vitalik gets thanked in their white paper, he's posted about it, and one of the founders has worked on Ethereum and written a paper with Vitalik.
They tweeted (https://twitter.com/Truebitprotocol/status/1386730412571959296) about deploying on the Ethereum mainnet a couple of days ago, and there's a contract (https://etherscan.io/token/0xf65b5c5104c4fafd4b709d9d60a185eae063276c). The price of these tokens has been going absolutely crazy.
However, I can't seem to find any definitive proof that this contract is actually the one that belongs to the legit TrueBit project, and not a scammer trying to cash in on the hype. I also haven't found any discussion on this on this subreddit, which seems suspicious. Anybody here who knows more?
