For the love of god, someone please clear my ERC20 and BEP 20 confusion !!
So I am somewhat new to crytpo , but i understand the basics and how blockchains actually work.
I have spent some time googling and trying to understand on my own, but still i am not 100% sure.
So , please let me know if my understanding is correct and if not then what parts am i misunderstanding.
As far as i understood, ETH when tranferred (lets say from binance to any other wallet )via the erc20 network, is the original actual ETH. But if you transfer ETH from binance to trust wallet using bep20, it goes to actually a completely different blockchain called binance smart chain. And this token is just a pegged version of the actual ETH.
Any person who does not believe in the bsc network will not accept this ETH as currency, coz it will no show on the original eth blockchain.
How correct is my above understanding ?
secondary questions ; bep2 is for binance chain and bep20 is for binance smart chain . Why the fuck does binance have two different chains ?
