Crypto is starting to really disgust me

I´ve been following crypto for at least 5 years now. It started off as a movement to make a decentralized censorship resistant means of payment. Then smart contracts and that was good. Now however it has largely tuned into a joke. Useless memecoins capture most of the attention and money. Centralized projects are winning which defeats most of the purpose. It has turned into one big casino where everyone claim to know what is best, without having next to no knowledge on how blockchains or economics work, or why blockchains even matter in the first place. I´m not totally right but I would say 90% of the cryptos in the top 100 are utter trash that really only have a speculation and gambling usecase. That is now the biggest usecase in crypto by far. Yet people claim they care about decentralization while at the same time buying Binance coin.

It´s all just a joke now, with a few good projects in between. But thats 1 out of 500 probably. It really showcase the worst sides of humanity. Greed, manipulation and lies. Not all, but thats 99% of crypto today. No one cares about real usecases, but they pretend they do so they can sell the idea of whatever crypto they hold to others. Even in the top 10 list, most cryptos are pretty useless. Either it´s centralized, or the token is not really needed at all. It´s all just overhyped vaporwave in a huge bubble. Tell me the real world usecase of ripple and stellar for example or chainlink? I bet most of the holders can´t formulate a good response. Same with solana or theta, which are just centralized and overhyped. Litecoin basically serves no purpose and binance has done a lot of questionable stuff over they years, yet people line up to give them money. People support scam memecoins and other scams, while at the same time complaining about scams and how we live in a bad world. Maybe clean your own home first.
