Transaction “dropped” on Etherscan

Hi, I did a transaction on Uniswap. I swapped some coins to Etheruem, the transaction was send but on Etherscan it was pending for about 45 minutes. Now I got the message that my transaction was dropped. What does it mean? Do I need to make a new transaction, wait or can I speed up this transaction in my MetaMask?
