Event: Ravencoin Community Foundation Meeting Time: Thursday, 4:00pm MT, 22:00 UTC Place: #foundation-meetings voice channel

Introduction The Foundation isn't Ravencoin and isn't in charge. It supports the ecosystem. Sort of the way a Chamber of Commerce would support all local businesses in a city, and also has the city's best interest in mind. In this analogy, the businesses are not in a geographical city, but are projects and businesses that use, build on, work with, rely upon, add to, or integrate with Ravencoin. The Foundation also helps the project with some infrastructure and a way to have project wallets in the App Store, and some monitoring of the ecosystem.

Meeting This will be the first open community meeting with about foundation matters. We will start this first meeting with an AMA session to discuss foundation status, matters that are unclear, what to expect from the foundation, and what the foundation hopes to expect from the community. I hope we can also try to have as goal setting up structured foundation-centered meetings for the community in the future.

Topics that have already been submitted are: – Will the foundation hold any trademarks? And if not, are there any bylaws preventing the Foundation from holding trademarks – What is the spending plan for the current excess funds? – Is network-derived funding off the table now that special interest groups formed and community donations are flowing in? and if not, what is the plan on how to continue?
