PSA: Institutional Investors Can and Will Short BTC and Alt Coins in a Massive Bear Market

I keep reading that BTC won't crash hard this cycle like it has done in the past because institutional investors are in the market now. Please be aware that institutional investors are very knowledgeable about previous BTC cycles, and they are just as good at shorting as they are buying long. They are also very good at hedging, leveraging, creating markets, destroying markets, and everything in between.

I am not predicting a market top or anything of that nature. I am not telling you to sell, and I am not telling you to buy. This is not advice. This is just a reality check for those of you who think institutional investors are only buying BTC in order to hodl. It's not that simple. These investors only care about making profits, and they don't care if they have to hodl and short BTC at the same time, sell it all off, buy it all back, or anything in between. They also don't care about propping up the alt coin market.

Be smart, think for yourself, and understand that big money can be made in bull markets, bear markets, and sideways markets. Don't get caught in a trap because you've been told that institutional investors won't sell. Not only will they sell, but they'll short it all the way down and take your money doing it.
