How to compute the smart contracts?

It's amazing that now the network runs on PoS!

However, someone does need to compute the.. smart contracts and receive gas, if I understand correctly?

Is there any documentation on setting up a node to compute blocks and provide new block data? Also, is there documentation on setting up a validator node?

How to participate on the network and be compensated for it!
