New to ETH, just some basic ?s

What are some of peoples real expectations for ETH over the new 1…5….10 years? Will this be like bitcoin one day? Will it be better? Just started investing 2 weeks ago in hopes I can reap major rewards in the long run….but I keep hearing about “crypto winters” and this bubble can/will bust at some point. How scared are you about this?….just wanted some basic info, sorry for the “newbie” type questions…have a great day investing everyone!
