For non-technical people: Is it worth staking ETH2.0 now or smarter to wait for the full launch / things like RocketPool?

Headline is the question – does it make sense for a newcomer to stake ETH 2.0 now or wait for the full 2.0 launch – why or why not?

What's the safest and easiest way to stake for non-technical people? Smart contract, exchanges, RocketPool, … ?
