Price thoughts

So being a noob to the crypto world in general, and RVN, I'm having trouble reconciling something:

If it costs 500 RVN to create a new asset, isn't that a massive price ceiling for the coin? I mean, if someone wants to create an asset and the price is, let's say $25/RVN, that's $12,500 just to create an asset. Who would want to spend that? Since it's hovering around $.18-.20 or so, it's not so bad. But people (myself included since I've invested a good chunk) wanting this to take off would see the asset creation price spike.

Am I not thinking about this right or is there some explanation that would address what I'm seeing?
