Pointing wallet to local node

I spun up a ravencoin node on a server in my local network, and it seems to get a lot of connection refused/permission denied from the ravencoin peer network. It seems that horribly inefficient if it's having a 50 to 75% fail rate during synch. Is there a good set of peer nodes that can sync my node with?
