[Question] Boardgame on the blockchain

Hi I working on a solidity smart contract for playing a (simple) board game.

Every move and validation should be on chain as the players will place some money on their game.

As transactions are not that cheap and fast on eth – >

Are there any working 2nd layer sollutions where this could be done.

I do it mainly for educational purpose, but if it works at the end its even better.
