Ethereum 2.0 and my $80

What does ethereum 2.0 and my 80$ mean to me? Should I keep buying? I’m currently accepted to stake on Coinbase but really have very little understanding of how big or small this is to my overall amount of ETH.

Edit: I have 80$ worth which is currently translates to .0358 ETH
