Ethereum 2.0 help me understand

Hi,

There is something I don't understand.

If I have some ETH 1.0 do I automatically get the same amount of ETH 2.0, like a blockchain fork?
Or will I need to trade my ETH 1.0 for ETH 2.0? will their price be correlated if I need to trade them? or is there a risk for ETH 2.0 to not be adopted and loose value after trading my ETH 1.0?
