Crypto is far from unknown, It is simply overlooked.

The boom in cryptocurrency usage in the coming years is inevitable in my opinion, but the factor holding it back most is the publics view on cryptocurrencies, not their awareness of them. Most people know about bitcoin (eth and other altcoins are a whole other matter) but to them it is just "that unsecure thing that people use to buy drugs and other illegal shit"

I have fallen victim to this myself, and have been aware of crypto for a long time but never really understood the potential that it has. I just wanted to post this as a lot of people seem to think that Crypto is unknown, however it is more likely misunderstood.
